questions about tattoos and stretching?

i want to get a biggish tattoo on my upper arm/shoulder area. i also do bodybuilding. my routine fluctuates, i stop for awhile and lose some weight/shrink, then pick it back up and gain weight back.

would that mess up my tattoo? like if i got bigger or smaller, or both overtime? how severly would it affect the tatt?

thanks
how long until it heals and i can continue doing my normal shazz

Those other two people are lame, don’t listen to them.
Your tattoo will only suffer if your arm size increases more than double and then gets flabby afterward. You have nothing to worry about. A tattoo can stretch and be just fine. As long as you keep it under control and know that your routine is stable, don’t worry about it.
Tattoos that typically are compromised by stretching are ones that are on bellys and breasts. They become deflated over time or after a pregnancy. But even in these instances, that can be avoided by proper care. Cocoa butter is good for constantly decreasing and increasing skin. If you’re young, your skin is able to cope and your tattoo will be fine. Actually, if you stay in shape into old age, your tattoo will look better than most, because your skin won’t be all saggy and wrinkled as much as the others. LOL.
But, when you first get the tattoo, make sure that you get an aftercare sheet from the artist so you know that you are doing all that you can to help your tattoo heal right and heal quickly to ensure a long beautiful life for your artwork

Generally, from what I know. Yes it will mess up the tattoo, especially when you first get it because your skin is starting to heal.

to completely heal it takes about a month. but after 2-3 weeks im sure it would be fine to do normal shazz.

and i personaly dont think that the tattoo will be distorted in any drastic way, but it will probably fade a little if its going through such changes. I think you should get the tattoo when you are on the bigger side though. And also any good tattoo artist should be able to answer that for you, and maybe even suggest a way to keep it looking great.

I say go for it.. but im also only 16.. but i want to be a tattoo artist when im old enough.
