Can someone please give some advise as to weight loss recipe for a person living in west africa?
I am trying to loose weight but all recipes i come across online contain ingridents that are not easily available or are too expensive here in Nigeria. It is a bit difficult to find variety when the staple food around here is rice, yam, cassava and generally carbohydrate. All i get to eat is basmati rice (someone said it has less starch, i hope its true), beans, vegetable and fruits, this is getting a bit boring. Breakfast is ok cos i have variety of cereal like oat, weetabix, all bran, fruit & fibre e.t.c. Dinner is usually soup or fruit or vegetable (again). Am looking forward to some interesting menus to break the boredom that the diet has become.
did you ever try nigerian food? No?
